Begaci Cares Annual Scholarship

Overview

Begaci is proud to support students who are striving to achieve their educational goals. The Begaci Cares Annual Scholarship awards a deserving student who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to their community.

Application Dates

Open Application Period: January 1 – May 31 each year
Winner Announced: June 30

Eligibility Criteria

Enrollment Status: Must be a high school senior or undergraduate college student in the U.S. and currently enrolled or accepted in an accredited college, university, or vocational school for the upcoming academic year.
Residency: Open to U.S. residents.
GPA Requirement: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Age Requirement: Applicants must be 17 years or older at the time of application.
Other: Demonstrate financial need or a strong commitment to academic and community endeavors.

Application Requirements

Completed online application form.
Official transcript from the most recent academic institution.
Proof of enrollment or acceptance (e.g., letter of acceptance, enrollment verification).
One letter of recommendation (from a teacher, employer, or community leader).
A 350 - 500 word essay based on the provided essay prompt.

Essay Prompt:

What does building a legacy mean to you? Reflect on the achievements and experiences that have shaped your journey so far. Discuss your aspirations for the future and how you plan to turn those dreams into reality. Finally, explain how the Begaci Scholarship will help you to create a lasting impact in your life, community, and/or the world.

Applications must be submitted online via the Begaci website.
All required documents must be uploaded in PDF format.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges based on merit, creativity, and adherence to the essay prompt.
Finalists may be contacted for a brief interview or additional documentation.
